There are 5 reels and 20 paylines you can win from in Gold Digger Hold & Win. To trigger a payout, land a minimum of three identical icons on adjacent reels to form winning combinations. The winning combinations must all be identical icons, with the exception of a special icon that can replace some of these icons, which we will explain later. All 20 payline patterns are presented in the info section, where you can browse through them before starting the game. Once you’re familiar with these rules, you’re free to place a minimum to a maximum of $0.20 to $20 per spin, depending on your strategy.
The low-pay icons are pretty hard to miss, as they consist of card icons like J, Q, K, and A. These icons will pay 0.25x to 4x your bet with three to five identical matches. But if you ever manage to complete a high-pay icon combination, the pickaxe, lantern, gold-filled mine cart, and Gus will pay 2x to 25x of your bet.

One special icon you’ll find pretty useful around here is the wild. This icon can replace other regular icons to complete winning combinations that are otherwise impossible in that round. With the wild icon, you won’t need to land exactly three icons to trigger a payout, a mere one icon is enough if you get two wilds to land in its payline pattern.
The Gold Nugget is the scatter, which functions to activate the Gold Link Respins mode when at least five of them appear on the reels. In Gold Link Respins, you’ll find yourself awarded with three respins at the beginning of the round, with any Gold Nuggets that land in this mode remaining sticky on the reels — resetting the respin counter.
Gems may also land during Gold Link Respins, which can award Reel Boosters if three matching Gems land within a single spin!
