To begin playing Hot Spin: Hot Link, the first thing players would need to do is to set the wager amount, which can be done at the right hand side of the gaming field, under the play button. The bet sizes range from $0.20 to $20, and once the value has been selected, players can start spinning. To hit a winning spin, streaks of 2, 3 or more symbols must be created along the specified win lines, from the leftmost reel to the right. Some symbols like the wild icons and the diamond icons only need 2 symbols along a payline to award a payout, but all other icons require combos of at least 3 or more to give out prizes. Along the reels, the symbols that appear may look familiar to seasoned players, with all fruits (e.g. cherries and watermelons) playing as lower value icons, and icons with the golden border (e.g. bell and number ‘7’) as high value icons.
