How to get started with Odin’s Riches by Microgaming?
The game has seven reels and goes by a cluster pay system. Unlike paylines with specific payline patterns, the cluster pay system allows matching icons to land horizontally or vertically on adjacent reels to trigger payouts. The goal is to land at least five matching icons adjacent to one another in a cluster to secure a win. You could also win from multiple clusters within a single spin if there is more than one complete cluster. Start playing by placing a bet ranging from the lowest and highest $0.2 and $50 per spin.
The low-paying icons depict Tiwaz, Othalan, Mannaz, and Dagaz in glowing colours carved into several stones. These icons pay 0.1x to 12.5x with five to fifteen identical matches. On the other hand, the high-paying icons are represented by animals like the raven, serpent, wolf, and a dragon that can pay 0.5x to 300x of your bet for five to fifteen matches.

The game also has special icons that will help increase your winning chances over time. The gold ‘W’ is one such example, as the wild icon, it can replace other icons on the reels to form winning clusters. Additionally, each cluster win will also award a wild icon.
There’s also another type of wild called Odin’s wild. This feature will allow four to nine wilds to appear on the reels in random positions to help complete winning clusters. However, this feature is only active in the base game.
The Rolling Reels feature can come into play in the base game and the bonus rounds. This feature will activate after a win is awarded. The Rolling Reels feature allows winning icons to be removed from the screen to make way for new icons to potentially produce more matches. New icons will continue falling into place until there are no more winning clusters.
As you collect more winning clusters, the game will keep track and fill up the bonus meter on the left of the reels. Once the meter collects 25 icons from winning clusters, the game unlocks a mini-feature. The feature will only activate when there are no more winning clusters present on the reels.
There are four mini features you could possibly win from the bonus meter. The first is the Dragon’s Riches, where at least five icons will be randomly selected on the reels to award a win regardless of their positions. The Wolf’s Hunger feature is where all low-paying icons are removed from the reels to activate the Rolling Reels feature. In the Serpent’s Wisdom, a low-paying icon in the reels is chosen randomly to be upgraded up to six higher-value icons. Raven's Flight is the fourth mini-feature, where two diagonal lines will appear on the reels. Icons situated within these lines, excluding the wilds, will be removed to allow three to five wilds to appear randomly on some empty positions. At the same time, the Rolling Reels feature will be activated.
However, activating these bonus rounds is not as easy as you may think, as unlocking a mini feature only adds it to the queue. To make use of the mini features in the queue, you’ll need to fill the entire bonus meter by collecting 125 winning icons. During bonus rounds, you’ll receive a win multiplier of 1x, which can continue to increase by 1x each time another mini-feature is activated.
